Who are the homeless?
Your chef; dental assistant; graphic designer; logistics coordinator; IT Director; even maybe your Councilperson.
Your neighbor’s son or daughter. The author of a great book article that inspires you. The counselor who may save your child’s life.
Our December 8th Dinner asks us all to look at the issue of homelessness; to pause,to converse, and to seek an understanding of who the homeless are and see them as us. The displaced are human beings worthy of respect, dignity, and compassion. The homeless are not a commodity that warrants discussion on property value, character evaluations, or good vs. bad.
Join us Saturday, December 8th @ 5 pm as the Palos Verdes Art Center and the Beacon House co-host an inspiring dinner and discussion. From Homeless to Hope to Accomplishment.
