Eric grew up moving between motels, cars, and crowded homes. By age seven, he was caring for his younger siblings while his parents struggled with addiction. Despite promising himself he’d never touch drugs, by his teens, the chaos around him led to addiction taking hold.

For decades, he worked, raised children, and tried to build a stable life, but addiction followed him everywhere.

By 39, he was homeless, alone, and convinced life was over.
